President Tinubu has addressed the dire humanitarian situation in Kaduna and Borno states. He vowed that tackling insecurity remains his administration’s top priority. Regarding the kidnapped students from Birnin-Yawuri Federal College, the president stated that comprehensive operations are underway. Mr. Tinubu assured distressed parents and all Nigerians that facilitating the safe return of the abductees is a responsibility the government will not fail to fulfill.
On the plight of internally displaced persons due to Boko Haram’s insurgency, he expressed sadness over their suffering and pledged full support through state agencies. President Tinubu further directed that immediate relief of food, shelter, and medical aid be provided in IDP camps. He also instructed security forces to combat the root of the violent extremism threatening peace in the Northeast.
The president affirmed his dedication to human capital development and non-violent solutions. Yet, the protection of lives demands toughness against criminal elements. Nigerians can trust that the administration will make every sacrifice to end the circle of attacks and restore dignity to affected populations. The country will rise from these challenges more united and stronger.
These are daunting times, but together, through compassion and justice, Nigeria shall surmount all difficulties. No citizen will be abandoned in their hour of need.
