Victor Osimhen, the Napoli striker who recently joined Galatasaray on loan, has claimed that he is worth more than a €100 million valuation. He believes there are few players like him in the world who have achieved similar results and success.
The 25-year-old was one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe during the last transfer window, with top clubs like Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Liverpool linked to him. Chelsea and PSG were even close to signing him, but the deal fell through due to his hefty €130 million release clause.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Chelsea are plotting a £40 million January bid for Osimhen. However, the player insists this suggested price tag is too low, given his on-field contributions and qualities. He stated that his characteristics, the things he does on the pitch, and his overall quality deserve a much higher valuation.
Osimhen joined Napoli in 2020 for a club record fee of €70 million plus €10 million in bonuses. He went on to have a standout 2022/23 season, guiding the club to their first Scudetto title in over three decades and winning the Serie A top scorer award.
