‘BBNaija’, Nnena Mbonu and Anita Ukah, known as the Nelita pair, have once again clinched the title of Head of House, marking their second consecutive win.
Earlier, the housemates used a ballot system that led to the Nelita pair’s initial victory on August 12, 2024, granting them a week of leadership.
However, ‘BBNaija’/Big Brother later revoked the ballot system and the custodian challenge. Instead, he introduced the Head of House immunity, which began this week. On Monday, August 19, the Nelita pair swiftly completed a two-round task, securing their win.
Previously, winning the ‘BBNaija’ HOH challenge alone did not ensure immunity. The winners had to succeed in the custodian challenge to avoid eviction.
As part of their privileges, the Nelita pair selected Sooj and Topher of the Aces to enjoy the HOH lounge with them. The chosen pair can enjoy the lounge’s benefits but cannot take anything back to the main house.
This week also saw the first live nominations. The housemates cast their votes as follows:

– Radicals nominated Shatoria and Wanni x Handi
– Wanni x Handi nominated Zinwe and DoubleKay
– Aces nominated Beta and Zinwe
– DoubleKay nominated Chekas and Beta

– Beta nominated Zinwe and DoubleKay
– Nelita nominated DoubleKay and the Mbadiwe Twins
– Mbadiwe Twins nominated Beta and Zinwe
Last week, the Nelita pair had chosen Onyeka and Chizoba of the Chekas pair to share the HOH lounge, which created some controversy. Many fans and housemates had expected them to choose the Aces instead.
