Nike Unveils Striking New Kits for Super Eagles Ahead of Busy 2024 Schedule
The Super Eagles, Nigeria’s national football team, will be playing with new, bold jersey designs unveiled by global apparel giant Nike over the course of the upcoming season.
Nike unveiled the 2024–2025 season uniforms on Monday through a video post on Instagram. The national team’s uniforms “disrupt convention with bold twists on icons,” according to the company.
The home uniform maintains Nigeria’s traditional white coloring but features green hooped accents on the sleeves and shorts. Most notably, the word “Naija” is emblazoned across the front in bold green lettering—a striking representation of national pride.
In a nod to the West African nation’s flag, the away kit utilizes a pastel version of the green hue. Both jerseys integrate Nike’s advanced Dri-FIT technology to keep players cool and dry from kickoff to full time.
The Super Eagles will don their new threads throughout the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying matches. Their third fixture is scheduled for June 3rd at home against South Africa, followed by an away meeting with Benin on June 10th.
Prior to that, friendlies in March will see the Eagles face Ghana and Mali in Morocco, giving fans their first glimpses of the dynamic new designs in action. With disruptive style coupled with elite performance, Nike’s kits are sure to energize Nigeria’s squad for the season ahead.
