A Nigerian woman named Adejumorekeh Balogun is asking for help after she claims to have lost her left eye due to domestic violence.

On Saturday, November 16, 2024, she made a post on Facebook showing pictures of her injured face and swollen left eye. She said she has been in an abusive relationship with her husband, whom she called a “beast,” for 15 years.

She wrote, “This is what fifteen years in an abusive relationship has cost me: my left eye. Please, I need help from everyone. Justice must be served. He knows I don’t have anyone to help me, which is why he treats me so badly. You can call me at 08167340977, or send a Whats-app message to the same number.”

In another post on Sunday, November 17, she said her husband and his family are threatening her because of her previous post.

The entrepreneur mentioned that she is currently in a hospital but did not reveal its location.

“Please share this until it reaches the right authorities that can help me. I feel helpless. His family and he are threatening me. I’ve been hospitalized and they don’t know where I am,” she said.

She also shared photos of the abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband in December 2022, claiming that he did the same to his ex-wives.

“This is from December 4, 2022. This man has been a beast since we’ve been together. His friends can confirm this, my family and friends can confirm it, and even his ex-wives can testify because he abused them too. His family is telling my family that this has only happened once before. They are threatening me to take down my posts on social media.

I’m sharing this update to let you know that I haven’t found anyone to help with this matter. I’m relying on you all. He already told me I don’t have a solid background and no one will come to my rescue. Now I’m counting on God. Fifteen years in an abusive relationship/Domestic Violence has cost me my left eye. I deserve justice.”
