A Tragic Incident: Cultist Murders Husband And Wife In Delta State

A man known as Bobby Kabah and his pregnant wife were brutally murdered in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State, by suspected cultists in a horrific incident that shocked the community. The incident took place on Wednesday, March 19, leaving the community in a state of grief and fear.

According to a resident who spoke anonymously, Kabah and his pregnant wife were relaxing in their home at Agidiasei quarters when two gunmen entered the premises around 8:35 pm and opened fire on them. Kabah, who was recovering from a recent motorbike accident, was at home with his partner, seeking solace and recovery. Tragically, the assailants took their lives, shooting them both on the spot.

The community is in shock and mourning over the loss of two innocent lives. Bobby Kabah and his pregnant wife, though not legally married, were living together and sharing a life together. The brutal nature of their murder has left the community in a state of disbelief and anger.

Confirming the incident, SP Bright Edafe, the spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, stated that the murders have been officially confirmed. He clarified that although Kabah and his wife were not legally married, they resided together and were tragically killed in the same house. The Commissioner of Police has ordered the case to be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation.

The murder of Bobby Kabah and his pregnant wife has underscored the urgent need for increased security measures and efforts to combat cult-related violence in the area. The community is calling on law enforcement agencies to swiftly investigate the incident, identify the culprits, and bring them to justice. It is vital to restore a sense of security and safety to the residents of Ogwashi-Uku, who are now living in fear due to this heinous crime.

As the community mourns the loss of Bobby Kabah and his pregnant partner, they are united in their demand for justice and an end to the senseless violence that has claimed innocent lives. The Delta State Police Command and relevant authorities must prioritize the investigation and take decisive action to prevent such tragedies from recurring in the future.
