Bright Okon, a 24-year-old electrician, tragically lost his life following a fatal fall from a ladder while engaged in maintenance work at a prominent hotel. The incident occurred on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at approximately 12:30 pm, leaving the community in mourning.
According to eyewitnesses, Bright Okon suffered a severe head injury after falling from the ladder, putting him unconscious. Swift action was taken to take him to the Federal Medical Center in Umuahia for immediate medical attention. Despite the best efforts of the medical staff, Bright Okon was pronounced deceased.
